Lakshadweep Islands – They are India’s only coral atolls and geologically a part of the same chain as the Maldives. Located about 240 km off India’s southwest coast, the LakshadweepIslands is a cluster of 36 small islands. The crystal-clear water with exquisite marine life, blue lagoons and natural coral reefs are some of the mesmerizing attractions of these islands. Best time to visit: November to May
Goa – Around 20 km from the CandolimBeach is the isolated Grand Island, which offers a phenomenal view of underwater life. The unique thing about this place is the clarity of water, which is way better than that of any other destination. This high underwater visibility allows you to have a look at the finest shades of life quite easily. Best time to visit: October to March
Islands of Netrani – Located 10 km from the Karnataka Coast amidst the Arabian Sea, the Netrani Island is a small island occupied by pigeons and meek goats. Some of the attractions of this island are parrot fishes, eels, butterfly fishes and trigger fishes. Best time to visit: December and January
