Give a child an experience that will last the ocean’s lifetime

You and I are part of the ocean community.  Yet the future of our oceans is in the hands of our children.  We can help the children of the fishing communities in the Sea of Cortez find solutions to the survival of our oceans.

Héroes del Mar is a program to prepare and educate our youth to change the course of our ocean’s health.  How?  By taking kids and scientists, teachers and other experts to the Sea of Cortez aboard Quino el Guardian.  Over 8 days we will show them the possibilities, engage their imaginations, provide hands-on studies, teach them about the sea and its inhabitants and, more importantly, how it affects their livestheir communitiestheir oceans, and their planet.

I have the boat, the scientists, the experts, the curriculum and 12 children from 3 different villages. Our first trip is June 30-July 7, 2019.  This will grow to 2 trips in 2020 and 3 in 2021.  But we have to start somewhere and I NEED YOUR HELP.  We have just two months to raise $48,000.

Please be a part of the children’s discovery, their investigation, and their search to create solutions for our seas by donating.  Our planet and our oceans are running out of time!

Thank you for your consideration and support,

Dora Sandoval
