Rum might make you think of warm weather and sitting on a beach, but its also a clutch player in winter. And if you think hot toddies are the only game in town, then you clearly haven’t tried a Hot Butter Rum.
The Hot Butter Rum is a classic drink that is making a comeback. It combines everyone’s favorite baking spices with rum, all heated to perfection. Here is the ultimate recipe.
- 1 lb Butter
- 1 lb Brown sugar
- 1 lb Powdered Sugar
- 1 tbsp Ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp Ground clove
- 1 tsp Ground nutmeg
- 1 qt Vanilla ice cream, softened slightly
*If you want add 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
How to make The Hot Buttered Rum Batter Cocktail
- Add all the ingredients except the ice cream to a bowl and stir to combine.
- Add the ice cream and stir again.
- Transfer to a container with a lid, seal and store in the freezer.
- 1 – 2 tbsp Butter Batter
- 2 Oz Gold run
- Hot Water
- Dust Top with cinnamon & nutmeg
