I was part of the beta testing and roll out for the CTS program developed by Don Kinney. I found the class much easier and simpler to follow compared to other programs I have taken in the past.
Combining the cylinder and valve class into a single 1 day seminar made learning and scheduling much easier for my clients and students, as well as myself.
Don presented the class in a fun, lighthearted, relaxed manner that was comprehensive and left me feeling more confident in inspecting cylinders.
Members of my dive club and some customers have asked for a cylinder program for some time and we had much difficulty finding an instructor in our area to accommodate our needs. We turned to Don who came down to Vegas from Washington State to teach the class and it was well received by the participants.
With my renewal coming up soon, and the positive feedback from the most recent class, I will not hesitate to turn to Don for any future classes or services.

Don Kinney promotes the meaning of safety and education defined by his ability to present knowledgeable information, content & learning objectives fulfilling the needs of each individual. I personally have known Don for 25+ years. I still am always educated by the course materials he offers. I and my staff will be with Don later this year for renewals and skills updates.
As mentioned, I have personally known Don for well over 25 years. He as my student, I as his student. On a professional level within the close knit Search & Rescue, SAR community of Bullhead City, AZ police department joint agency dive team. Don is the definition of professionalism.

My department was part of the beta testing for this course after development. I have no hesitation in recommending this class to anyone that deals with high pressure cylinders on a regular basis. Don is very thorough and to the point in his presentation and the information given is extremely useful and clear. The course also covers valve repair and compressor basics, which provides an extra depth of continuity to the lecture. The material is organized in a sensible, non-boring fashion, and the pace allows for interaction during the class as needed. We’re actually coming to the point of doing re-certs soon and I will absolutely continue using Don and this course.
