Wow! Wish we stayed longer!
The resort location is at the end point of land so very well isolated and private. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and well-tended, lots of flowering trees & plants, lots of nice shade trees, etc. Individual Bure is spacious with plenty of spaces. I would recommend the beach bure as you will have ocean view and spaces in front of your Bure to relax in the hammock or in the lounge chair. Plus very nice view of the sun set as well.
The meals were very much enjoyable with variety of choices. For breakfasts we had a nice selection of specials along with standards like Eggs Benedict, French Toast, etc. For lunches and dinners there were always several starters, at least 3-4 different main courses (including vegetarian), fresh baked breads, and a number of different deserts. The foods are very yummy and well presented.
As for scuba diving, the resort has the diving facilities on site which make it very convenient. We just set up our diving gear once and they will take care of it until time to pack and leave.
They offer 3 boat dives per day. The diving closed by the resort about 10-20 minutes away has variety of dive sites, pinnacles, wall, drop-off. The intense colors of soft coral and plenty of fish life are not disappointed. We are lucky that we have a chance to dive in Namena Marine Reserve and it was well worth the long boat ride (about 45 minutes away). Strongly recommended!
Beyond the diving – a village cultural visit, ocean and river kayaking, presentations by the resident marine biologist and others, sports activities with the staff, etc. Each day of the week has a different focus/theme, keeping things interesting. So it is perfect for divers, non-diver and children. Did I mention the resort provide complementary nanny or buddy for child under 12 years old? Check out the “Bula Club”.
