Professional Scuba Inspectors, Inc. (aka Professional Cylinder Inspectors, Inc. or PSI-PCI) is the ONLY training agency of its kind whose training is utilized, endorsed and recognized by the cylinder manufacturers and also recognized by USDOT and the Compressed Gas Association. We provide comprehensive cylinder visual inspection and hazmat training pertaining to specific high pressure tanks such as SCUBA, SCBA, O2 and others. Our supporting specialties go deeper into specific areas of the inspection process to provide a well rounded knowledge of the process. We offer training on Valve repair, Oxygen tank cleaning (for nitrox or medical oxygen administration) and even the often misunderstood eddy current process.

It is important, as a diver, to know that the technicians in your favorite facility have had this recognized, comprehensive training when it comes to the tanks you use, which are your life support equipment! We have trained technicians worldwide so where here in the USA or abroad, you should look for evidence of the PSI-PCI training in the shop you choose to dive with. You can have confidence in the condition of your scuba tanks when inspected by a trained PSI-PCI Inspector. For questions or further information contact PSI-PCI, Inc. Visit our website at www.psicylinders.com or call us at 425-398-4300.

PSI-PCI is the only professional Visual Cylinder Inspection training company that is not only recognized and endorsed by cylinder manufacturers, but also the Federal Government, by virtue of being written into specific special permits that you must be a PSI-PCI trained inspector to inspect that cylinder. They are always ready and willing to help with understanding the complex rules and it usually just takes a phone call or email. They go to DOT meetings, not only to listen, but to give input. The requirements to be a instructor are based on experience as an inspector and a trainer and not just based on paying a fee. You can’t complete a PSI-PCI Instructor Training Course in 4 hours, it’s almost 4 days! By far they are the experts on cylinder inspection training.
