Guidelines for Reviews
Fellow Divers like you rely on Scuba Diving Resource reviews when searching for the best experience and value for their hard earned dollars.
Being POSITIVE is not hard, but just in case, we have put together these general guidelines. While there may be the occasional negative experience, we prefer you emphasize the POSITIVE.
Our Guidelines for Reviews:
DIVER & Family-friendly – Colorful language and imagery is fine, but there’s no need for REVIEWS to be threatening, harassing, lewd, hateful or displays of bigotry.
Written by actual users – We accept reviews that detail first-hand experiences with the facilities, products or services of an establishment. General discussion that does not detail a substantial experience will not be posted.
Relevance – Please make sure your contributions are relevant and appropriate to the forum. For example, reviews aren’t the place for rants about a business’s employment practices, political ideologies, extraordinary circumstances, or other matters that don’t address the core of the consumer experience.
Unique and Independent – You may write one review on any given accommodation, restaurant, or attraction per visit.
Original – No substantial quoted material from other sources, including (but not limited to) websites, e-mail correspondence, other reviews, etc.
Privacy – Don’t publicize other people’s private information. Please don’t post close-up photos of other people without their permission, and please don’t post other people’s full names unless you’re referring to service providers who are commonly identified by their full names.
Submitted for an appropriate business – Your review must be for an accommodation, restaurant, business, product or attraction that meets our listing requirements
Non-commercial – No promotional material of any kind, including self-promotional URLs. We reserve the right to reject any URL, e-mail address, or phone number for any reason.
Age requirement – No reviews by children under the age of 13
