Thailand – Important Update – Similan National Park New Regulations
Please be aware that new regulations released by the Thailand National Park Authority relating to entry in to the Similan National Park now dictate that a maximum of 525 divers may enter the Similan National Park each day. This means that we have to pre purchase entry tickets from 60 days prior to a cruise.
To purchase these tickets, the below information is needed as soon as possible:
- Name as per passport
- Passport number
- Date of birth
- Diving certification
If this information is received within 60 days we cannot guarantee that a ticket will be available for your guest. Any name changes on the booking within 60 days of departure must be made clear with Worldwide Dive & Sail before you confirm with the guest. We cannot guarantee that entry tickets will be available to the new guest.
Please also note that diving insurance is now mandatory and guests will be required to bring a paper copy of diving insurance confirmation and diving certification on board with them. Failure to produce these documents on inspection by park rangers could lead to guests being barred from diving. Note that digital copies on a phone or tablet will not be accepted.
Thank you for your prompt attention to the above.
