Volivoli Beach Resort – Fiji0
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
7 November 2016
Volivoli Beach Resort is Open as of 1 November 2016
Fiji’s Volivoli Beach Resort has reopened newer and better after a major re-build following extensive damage sustained during February’s Tropical Cyclone Winston.
“We’ve taken the opportunity to evaluate where Volivoli sits in the market and to reopen as the premium boutique resort for the Suncoast, while still providing the personal touch that guests expect from Volivoli as a family owned and operated resort. Fiji is where our families heart, lives and business are invested” explains General Manager Nick Darling.
The Nuku Restaurant and Bar has been rebuilt and extended into the previous sand floor area that now has more table seating and an elevated lounge space for guests to enjoy a more intimate quiet space. The sand floor is gone and mahogany hardwood floors have been installed throughout the main restaurant and bar area. The size of the commercial kitchen has been tripled. Guests who enjoy the sand between their toes can now sit next to the beach at the Ra Bar which has an extensive view of the sea and 80 metre sand spit.
Resort owners, the Darling family, have also used this year’s closure as an opportunity to invest in staff training in the food and beverage area. External consultants were employed to develop a new menu and assist with service delivery.
Volivoli Beach Resort offers families and couples a unique Fijian experience doing as much or as little as guest wish to do with fishing, stand up paddle boarding, day spa, diving, kayaking, cultural tours of the region and high quality accommodation offering uninterrupted ocean views from every room. An initial addition of five new luxury villas with individual swimming pools are planned for 2017.
